For one of two reasons:
1. The man didn't tell her that he was married.
2. She doesn't give a damn about his family.
Any woman who goes after an attached man and has full knowledge of his status the entire time should be ashamed of herself. It's a clear case of not walking a mile in their shoes, not have a conscience of any kind...they're called homewreckers for a reason. And to women who do this, I would ask what in the hell they are thinking? Sure, sometimes the guy abandons his wife and kids for the other woman, but just as often, he shuns her completely after he's satisfied his lust or just comes to his senses. Who wants something like that in the story of their life?

Many times women who date married men exclusively are afraid of commitment themselves. They KNOW that a married man doesn't have to make a commitment to them so it's considered safer.

The question you really should ask is:
Why does the married man not care about his wife and family.
Blaming the other woman is short-sighted and stupid. She didn't stand up before your family and god and pledge to love, honor and respect you. HE DID.
