Victoria's secret has a bunch of bras for the more busty woman. I recommend something that has a wide under bust strap, and full coverage cups, and of course the wide padded shoulder straps. I am not busty myself but many of my friends are.. and they find that these are the most comfortable bras. Also at Victoria's Secret, they will measure you to make sure you are wearing the right size bra and will aid you in finding something that is best for your size. Oprah had a show on this once... about 2 weeks ago or so.. maybe you can find it in her archives on her page.. she had amazingly helpful tips.!! Good luck!

The best bra for d cup or higher full-figured women is the MOVING COMFORT "MAIA" Bra. Do a google search for it. Most places accept returns if you don't like it, and you can always call before ordering to see exactly what their return policy is. I use a place called Two Roads Fitness and they've always been accommodating with returns and exchanges.

Try the Le Mystere Dream Tisha bra:

I'm not a really big fan of Oprah, but it's one of her "favorite things", and a lot of women agree with her. It's specifically for full-figured women and doesn't show at all under even the thinnest fabrics. It is a little pricey, but well worth it.

It depends.. You should go to a good deparment store and have yourself measured for bra size (most women don't do this, and most women wear the wrong bra). I know this sounds strange, but you may want to research some old Oprah shows. She addressed this a few times (and has the same issue you mention).

Check out this link to Oprah magazine for details on sizing:

Hey, not a bad answer for a guy - I should get some points for this!

as somebody mentioned, get yourself measured first. I like shopping at nordstroms. They have great service there and will help assist you with any fit needs. You might say measure out as a 38C in one brand but 38D in another. They are great for showing you what is considered proper fit and the differnt options for bras in general.

As far as particular brands go, I love natori, felina, wacoal, le mystere. Those are more expensive, but with proper care last for a long time. I also find that the victoria secret ipex is also good, but doesn't last as long but is cheaper than the others.

Seen a tv commercial today from Platex. It was a trivia one that asked, what's the biggest bra size that Platex makes. The answer was 54DDD. You should find one there.

A well endowed friend of mine prefers the good old fashioned sports bra for everyday use. It gives her some much needed back support. Not sure what she uses for dressing up.

www.bravissimo.com - the tagline actually says: "for big boobed women" !! I beleive they[re pricey, but if you buy one or two bras you can wear under anything, just take good care of them!
