"Anyways" is not proper English.

What the others have said is correct: "anyways" is slang that isn't even in the dictionary. It's just getting popular these days.
But did you know that "always" was once called "alway"? Yeah, that's the old form. Then "always" took over. So who knows, "anyways" could become the correct word some years or decades from now!

1. "Any way" or "anyway"are real words, used as an adjective and a noun, or as a adverb.
2. "anyways" is a term used by the uneducated: it doesn't even exist as slang!!!!!

Example of #1 as a noun: "You can get to the park any way you wish, (any = the adj. way is the noun)

Example of #2. "I hated this movie, but went anyway". (anyway, here modified the verb went, and is thus defined as an adverb

Besides the extra letter (s) it usually comes down to a difference in education!

It depends on what type of grammarian you ask.

A prescriptive grammarian would say that 'anyway' is a word and 'anyways' isn't.

A descreptive grammarian would say that 'anyway' is a standard word and 'anyways' is slang.
