You are competing with stamp dealers who sell stamps at 80-90% face value unless they are current stamps. If they are current stamps, any buyer will want to know where you got those large quantities to avoid buying stolen stamps. You have to make it more convenient to your buyer to buy from you instead of from the post office unless you are giving a discount, so look into delivering the stamps to small businesses and offereing at least a few percentage points off on large purchases, as the business owner has to have some incentive to make up for the more difficult job of documenting the sale for tax purposes.
