im having a play on hippys and i cant find a costume
HELP!!!! Please

i am having a play at school and its about hippy's in the 1960's. I dont know what to wear!!

Go to michaels and buy some dye. Go to the dollar store and buy some white t-shirts. T dye t shirts are what you want. Try to find a afro or if your hair is really long braid it in ponytails. Get some face paint and paint peace signs on the sides of your cheeks and find you a pair of bell bottoms. If its to hard to find bell bottoms the next best thing is flarred pants(come out big at the bottom. You know what they say " if you cant find one just make one:. Good luck!

Wear Bell bottomed blue jeans, tie die tea shirts, beads lots of beads, tie a bandanna around your knee yes your knee, wear a head band around your forehead. wear Swede and if you can find a jacket with fringe wear that, Wear some flowers in your hair, male or female. Artificial will do as long as it is silk and looks real.Moccasins or sandals good .Take a black magic marker and write all over your jeans "Make love not war"Peace!"draw a peace sign Draw daisies, have friends write their names all on the legs and rear of your jeans the messier the better.Wear your hair long and free. If you don't have long hair invest in a fall (a partial hair piece)If you have one wear a vest over a white t-shirt. Have fun!

I love hippy clothes my favorite is the Tye dyed t-shirt, crazy painted jeans is another, also a crazy looking head band,love beads,flowers in your hair peace signsGROOVY!.Just let your imagination take over and you will do fine.I found some google pictures for you too.Good luck and have fun with it.

Ripped jeans...lighter end of the spectrum. Tie dye shirt, ridiculous left wing political t-shirt, or peasant top. Lots of long beads. sandals. one of those headbands across your forehead. flowers. peace signs!
Seriously, look up Janis Joplin. No better inspiration!
