my bf and i use protection just about every time we have sex. there have only been a few times where we havent used one but it was only for a few minutes and then he put on a condom. i am a little worried because for the past two weeks my breasts have been hurting on and off, ive had cramps although im not on my period, and ive been craving vinegar, pickles, and crabmeat like crazy. is it possible that im pregnant or am i just being really paranoid?

When a male is sexually stimulated, he immediately gets some juices going, often called "pre-***", which are his version of lubrication so that when he ejactulates the ejaculate can slide easily through the shaft. Because all the plumbing is connected, the pre-*** contains a good amount of sperm, and without an orgasim inside the vagina or with delayed orgasm (coitus interruptus), fertilization can take place. Unprotected entry of a penis into a vagina (in a woman that is not on other contraceptives) is a very good way to get pregnant.

If you really want to know what's going on, use a home test pregnancy kit or wait until your period is really late then go to the doctor for an official test.

In the meantime, to be safe you should avoid all alcohol, nicotine, and street drugs, artificial sweetneners (like diet soda, other diet foods), and take a multivitamin with folic acid. If you do happen to be pregnant and eventually decide you want the child, you want to make sure that you are protecting it from the very beginning in regard to healthy development.

Those are all symptoms that can be explained by getting your period. I thought the same thing because i was having a bunch of symptoms a while back, i skipped my period and then had the worst one of my life the next month. If you're more than a week late, then take a test. It can't hurt to get an answer. If it's positive go to your doctor for a blood test to be 100% sure and then you can start weighing your options. Good luck.

Have you missed a period? If not, you are probably just being paranoid. When I got pregnant, my breasts hurt and I had cramps, too, just like you would if you were about to start your period. However, I was 2 days late and never started my period, and yes, I was pregnant. If you haven't missed your period, I would wait it out or take a pregnancy test.

It could be incoming menstruation or it is possible you could be pregnant. Get a test to see if it is positive and because you are not sure whether you could be make sure you get on prenatals. This will help your body ready for the child. Prenatals contain folic acid and many vitamins to help prevent cancers and help in their development of brain and all other functions. If the test comes up positive get to the doctor as soon as you can. The sooner you get to the doctor the more you can be prepared for baby. Well at least medically speaking.

Take away all the symptoms you have explained and your answer still lies in the first sentence of your question: you use protection ALMOST EVERY time. That being said, yes, it is possible. But, to be on the safe side, call you Gynocologist and schedule an appointment.

well, if you are pregnant you do get really bad cravings and if you didnt use protection it is possible. but you should take a pregnancy test thing. i heard from my health teacher that most girls can only get pregnant about 5 days out of the month, but i dont know if its true

Kiddo you should definately get a home test and check it. also please go see a doctor for a more comprehensive screening. its better to be safe then sorry.

also just FYI once is literally all it takes. as one of the young ladys before said. men have pre ejactulate fluids which contain semen. this alone is more then enough to cause conception.

allways i repeat ALLWAYS use protection if your going to engage in sexual activity.

good luck one way or the other.
