asked this once but things have changed. my mum was gonna take me shopping today to get an MP3 player but now she says i have a 300 dollar budget for an electronic toy of my choice. i want something that plays videos and music basically. what should i get... open to any ideas. thanks in advance.

alright... i hope i didnt waste 5 points. i said i dont like ipod. they batteries only last 2 years....and then it DIES... permanetly

Hey! That's what I was gonna say...30GB iPod, they play videos and have a big screen. Or you could get a new sony ericsson walkman phone, they can play videos and music and tend to have a high storage space. But I'd personally get the iPod.

The videos for the video players cost a lot.. like 2 dollars a video so you might want to think about how much it will cost.

yep 30gb iPod $249.99 plays 7500 songs and videos (not sure how many hours, but enough trust me) i have one they are very nice. comes in white or black. have fun!
i am sorry i just saw the iPod note but that is still wat i suggest, not sure if there is ne thing other than iPod
