Become a counsellor. You can do the course on line at your own pace. Once you get your qualification you can go into business for yourself and charge whatever you want, and if you are a good one, your reputation will spread. I know with most good counsellors there is always a waiting list to get in, and unlike a psychologist, you could finish the course in one or two years...depending on how keen you are.

Computer programmer - you can do short training courses. Look into a kind you can do as there are various levels. It helps if you are technically inclined. It pays very well.
Otherwise if you like working with people there is always sales and potentially ways to work your way up fast and earn a lot.
Most high paying professions ask for many qualifications and a lot of experience. There aren't generally any short cuts.
Another way is to set up your own business. Big risks and potential high gain, the world is your oyster.

Pharmacist doesn't take as long as a doctor, and they make good money. Some pharmacists only work 6 months out of the year because they make enough in those 6 months to support them the rest of the year.

Go to the US Department of Labor's website. They keep stats on what jobs are predicted to be in increasing demand over the next ten years; what jobs pay best; even what jobs people tend to keep rather than move on from. Often the hardest thing to keep in mind is this: It ain't the money! It's finding a job where you will get up for each of a thousand mornings without a knot in your stomach, and which turns you on. That's the job you want. Personally, it was my 17th job. Good luck :-)
