If you talk to any soldiers in Iraq, they'll tell you that they don't have enough troops. One of the reasons that the war is dragging on so long is that once we've overtaken an area, we don't have the troops to keep that area contained. Our troops leave that area, then it just gets infested by angry groups of sunnis, shiites, or terrorists again.

I don't agree with this war, but increasing numbers is the only way to accomplish anything now that we're in it. I'm glad he did it.

Dude.. Iraq is FUBAR. Sending 20,000 troops at this point.. is just like putting more meat in the meat-grinder.. Or putting a band-aid on a broken leg.

They didn't send enough troops when they should have.. now, it's gotten way out of hand.. Rummy's responsible for it, and Bush probably got fed up with it and kicked him out..

I feel sorry for all the soldiers who are there against their will - I don't know about them, but I definitely won't want to go.

Appearing May 30, 2004 on NBC's "Meet the Press," Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi flatly and repeatedly told Tim Russert that "we need more troops on the ground." Ms. Pelosi suggested 300,000 more troops were needed. Poor Bush, as far as Democrats are concerned, "Damned if you do, damned if you don't".

So, I guess we need more troops, or we need less troops. I'm semi-excited.

Well, I have a feeling that we are not really sending all of them to Iraq. I think they are going to Iran, our next objective. Personally, I'd like to start the construction of my bomb shelter now.

I am "cautiously optimistic"... "At first helping the Iraqis was OK"... but now it is a bad thing ? Think about the Iraqis. They want what we have. Freedom . They are so close. Why would you want to abandon them ?

USA is spending more money per day than Senegal earn money per year!
It's a shame!
