1) run ccleaner (optional)

run the following two menus of ccleaner
cleaner > Analyze > Run Cleaner
Issues > Scan For Issues > Fix Selected Issues

2) Uninstall IE7
The IE7 uninstallation goes as follows
-enable to view hidden files
(start > control panel > Folder options > View > Show hidden files and folders > apply >ok)

-click on Start > Run
type the following (ther are additional spaces after \ to make them display on this page, you can skip them while typing)

c:\ windows\ ie7\ spuninst\ spuninst.exe
press ok, Follow the on-screen instructions, after completion double-click IE to check that IE6 is working.

3) If the browser is IE6, or if there is any problem in IE6 then run system file checker

Go to Add/Remove in Control Panel and look for Internet Explorer 7 and it will revert back to 6.

Internet Explorer 7 is a massive update so it shouldn't be uninstalled

Yes, I do. Go to CONTROL PANEL | ADD/REMOVE SOFTWARE | ADD/REMOVE WINDOWS COMPONENTS then uncheck the box for Internet Explorer and click OK. After it removes the Internet Explorer 7, IE6 will be restored.

Start>>Control Panel>>Add/Remove. Ensure there's a tick next to "Show Updates". Remove IE7 and it automatically goes back to IE6.

With as many IE7 equipment defects as i've got heard approximately, particularly frankly IE6 is a greater solid browser. :-P yet, dropping the editorializing and attending on your question ... in case you uninstall IE7 (administration Panel - upload/eliminate courses), your computer will roll itself returned to IE6. And confident, you will nonetheless be waiting to get on line. yet another danger is to acquire the latest unfastened version of Firefox. yet simply by fact it feels like IE7 has knotted up your connection, you will desire to get that fastened first. nonetheless yet another danger: do a equipment restore to a element earlier you downloaded the latest around of updates. that would desire to get IE7 working returned. Then, while abode windows as quickly as returned provide you with the updates, use the custom mode and decline the replace for IE7. wish that helps. sturdy success!
