They haven't even finished writing the script for X-Men 4 let alone decide if they are even going to make a X-Men 4. If they do decide too, I would hope that Ian Mckellen would return.

The X-Men movies are over and done with. Sad but true!
However, there is talk of a Magneto movie to go into production as well as a Wolverine movie for you Hugh Jackman/Wolverine fans.

surprise... after the release of x-men 3, they released a statement saying that both wolverine and magneto will have their own spin off movies. if that is the case, ian mckellan will have his own marvel universe movie.
