You people are forgetting that this equation can yield a negative result. The square root of 20 can be 4.47... or -4.47... and the square root of 15 can be 3.87... or -3.87...
Therefore √20 ÷ √15 is ±1.1547...
Jim C actually has the correct answer in terms of simplifying the equation:
√20 ÷ √15
↓
√4 × √5 ÷ √3 × √5
↓
2 × √5 ÷ √5 ÷ √3 × √5 ÷ √5
↓
2 ÷ √3
I gave him a thumbs up!
Puggy is correct that you must rationalize the denominator.
To rectify this simply multiply the numerator and denominator by the radical:
2 ÷ √3
↓
2 × √3 ÷ √3 × √3
↓
2 × √3 ÷ 3
That is a better answer.
I gave Puggy a thumbs up, too.

square root of 20/square root of 15=
20^1/2/15^15=(4*5)^1/2/(5*3)^1/2
You will notice that 5^1/2 is in both numerator and denominator, so they drop out and you get:
4^1/2 / 3^1/2
Square root of 4 is 2 so this equals
2 / square root of 3
3 is not a perfect square, to get it out of the denominator, multiply fraction by square root of 3/square root of 3
2(square root of 3)/(square root of 3)(square root of 3)=
2 rad 3/3

sqrt(20) / sqrt(15)
sqrt(4 * 5) / sqrt(15)
sqrt(4)sqrt(5) / sqrt(15)
2sqrt(5) / sqrt(15)
It is bad form to have a radical on the bottom. Let's multiply numerator and denominator by sqrt(15).
2sqrt(5)sqrt(15) / 15
Now, merge the two radicals into one.
2sqrt(75)/15
2sqrt(3)sqrt(25)/15
2sqrt(3)[5] / 15
10sqrt(3)/15 = 2sqrt(3)/3
