for as long as you want. you cant hurt a granite counter top with a hot pot or skillet. its actually hard to hurt it with anything at all.

Yes you can put boiling h20 on granite and leave it there until it is cold!!

its a frickin rock, tard.. get frickin real.. i use slate rocks for 'plates' when cooking outside in the fire ring or as 'griddles'.. theres your answer about rocks... now im gonna frickin roll...
