Both of my girls were still high when I was in labor at the hospital, then I guess they just slid down, obviously. But it sounds like you are doing a lot of activities, unfortunately the baby will come when it's ready.

I cannot think of a thing that you have not tried. When I felt my babies drop, I just walked a lot and it helped. You might try a hot shower -- BUT have your husband in there, you could pass out. Hot baths could cause infections right now, you don't want to do that. I know you are anxious, but when the baby is ready she will come. As far as your husband being tired, sorry, but good God -- do you think things are going to be that much easier and quieter when there are FOUR kids? Tell him to stop whining and help you out -- like for the next 18 yrs!! He has a day time job -- so do you!! Evenings and weekends are for BOTH of you to deal with.

You are stress out and 3 kids at home can drive you crazy. I urge you to stop doing activity and rest your body and wait for a baby girl to come. Do not push and it will not help your mental. Try to relax in a warm bath and listen to music. Do not forget to eat spicy food and drink lot of water. Practice how to breath. Your migraine and back pain will go away if you can clam your nerve down. Do not get offense with me. I had my third baby with 4 firemen and my husband. He wanted to come and he could not wait so 5 men had to do the doctor's job. Your will be fast and quick when the baby is ready. Trust me and good luck. Come back and let everyone knows your lovely story.

I understand where you're coming from. It felt like forever before i had my last child. I really don't think the other two took that long...lol! Anyways, i hate to say this, but baby will come when baby is ready. The walking is good for you, for labor. I wish someone would talk to your husband thou... it upsets me a little, because of the way you mentioned him. Being tired of having to help you with your other kids. He has to realize those are his kids too... and when the baby gets here you will have a handle taking care of yourself and baby until you both are healled good. I wish you the best of luck. And don't worry it shouldn't be too much longer.

I tried eggplant parmesan, sex all the time, walking, everything. In the end, nothing works, I was over due and my cervix stopped dialating at 9 cm and the baby basically had to be pulled out. Do youself a favor. Stop, and SLEEP. You have a long road ahead of you and you need to be rested.

It will happen when it's ready. I am 40 weeks, and I have to have a C-section because my baby hasn't dropped and cervix isn't effacing, at all. I don't really think that anything you do does much. I tried it all..down to herbs and castor oil...with my first daughter, and nothing ever happened. I was fully induced, and in labor for 36 hours. I know you are miserable. You just have to hang in there!! That beautiful little girl will be here before you know it.

GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!!The methods of self-inducing labor.....Oregano and Basil have properties that may cause contractions, so eat something with that in it also, Semen contains is prostaglandins. Prostaglandins cause the cervix to "ripen", or soften and prepare to open and, another one is that eggplant will start labor within 48 hours of eating eggplant parmigiana, also get your husband to massage your muscle from your calf muscle to your ankle, I know that will progress labor a little for you as well.

I tried everything. From 38 weeks onward. I'm now 41 weeks. Baby will come when its ready, With first pregnancies baby can engage weeks before the birth. With subsequent pregnancies they may not drop untill you are actually in labour.
Good Luck
