My friend is having a sleepover with my other friend and I'm pissed off. I'm wondering why she didn't invite me. She likes me and I love her. I mean she's my best friend! How should I react? I'm sad.

Do you know all the details on the sleepover? What if its just a friend she hasn't seen in a while? maybe she hasn't been spending enough time with that friend, and she needed to take a break on all the other ones. I don't think you should over react, or react in any jealous way. She would have invited you if she could have, rite? so there's probably something preventing her from doing that. Don't worry about it, or be sad. You shouldn't focus all your friendship on one relation. try and make plans or something.

It might be that she was only allowed one friend to sleep over. Its hard trying to entertain 3 girls with all that laughing and carrying on all night. When people are invited to someone elses house they should make sure they have enough food and they probably didnt have the groceries. I have a best friend but i know sometimes I want advice from someone other then her on certain things. Sometimes you can hang with a best friend to much and kind of gets old even though they still love you and all. All 3 of you can still pick an activity to do together. Dont feel sad. So many reasons WHY. If its bothering you that bad just ask. A best friend would be truthful.

Things like this happen. It's because your friend is getting closer to your other friend and finding things in common and they just want to hang out and maybe it isn't the same when you're there. Don't react negatively, just invite your friend over for a sleepover next week so you guys can hang out too.

Well, she's alowed to have other friends isn't she? Do you think other girls should be upset at you or your friend if she asked you over and not them?

Dont' be too self absorbed so that you believe you're the only person in your friends life. And don't get angry, life is way too short for that. You should be happy she's going to have a good weekend.

What if you called her like you probably do 10 times a day. Ask what they're going to do and act interested and supportive. Don't be negative and who knows, you may get a last minute invite. The thing here is to be up and happy, don't be a downer or you'll not get the invite...ever.

This woman is genuinely no buddy of yours. a real buddy does not make exciting of you in front of your friends. Her little trick of imitating you and then guffawing approximately it shows all of them that that's totally properly to snort at you. Going after a guy which you like is her way of exhibiting you that she is more advantageous to you. that's not the act of a chum. You already say that her strikes are stupid and stressful. perhaps it's time to spend time with people who're not stupid and stressful and who actual such as you and be responsive to the thank you to be acquaintances.

this thing happened to me too...only i was the one invited to 2 different places...i was sick and i went to go sleepover instead of club. then i went out with my other friend the next week...don't let it get to you...i'm sure they don't know that you feel so bad...just go out with your best friend another time or invite her to sleep over...you will be fine.. ;) things worked out in the end.

The best thing that I can think of is for you to ask her why didn't you invite me and go from there.

I know what it's like, it actually has happened to me. The next year I found a better friend who would never do that, but I still wonder usually why did that group just forget me??

Some times, we all need to experience other friendships, even if we have a BEST friend.
Don't be sad. Think of another friend and have they sleep over with you.
Don't be slamming your best friend if this happens either.........cause your all just learning to cope with others.

Unless there is a solid reason for you to have annoyed her (ask her if you are worried), I wouldnt worry. What are you.. joined at the hip? She's allowed other friends - maybe she's feeling claustrophobic from the friendship. You should get other friends too.
