Yes. The mucous plug as a whole is pretty good size but you may only loose a little at a time or not at all until labor. No it does not always have blood in it.

Yes it is possible some women lose it all at once others lose it over time. I'm due today and I have been losing mine over the past 3 days. I noticed I was losing it because it felt like if I was having a period. Not everyone notices though.

It sure is! A lot of mom's never know they have lost it until they go to the doc for an exam. I only saw one of mine out of 3 pregnancies. Good luck.

Yes it is and you can lose it a little at a time. I did, lost mine over a three day span.

Yes it is. If you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without the light on, you wont see it.

You can lose it without knowing. I lost mine 12 hours into labor. So you may not lose it at all.

I don't think you could miss it. It's possible that you may not loose it till labor.

sometimes it doesnt come away till you actually giving birth.
with my first this was the case .
