Do all virgo's build walls around themselves?

I've meet so many of them, and they all like to appear secretive and cold. Are they just afraid?

most of the virgos are sensitive...and they cannot take critisism or anything said against them so they just tend to avoid people to avoid everything else...this is what i have seen in my experience with virgos......but if u make them aware that u like them and want to be with them inspite of their shortcomings or anything else...then they will start opening up to u....very slowly.....once they open up....they are the most wonderfull people to be around with...they are caring and sensitive.

I will agree with some others that the virgo women I have been with are very nice in the beginning but I find as the friendship or relationship grows, I find they put up boundaries around themselves and will even use a poison pill to a relationship to sometimes keep from people finding out too much about the virgo.

Sawy said it best on how they can be, But for example in my case, I slowly (or at least I thought) tried to befriend one who apparently liked me alot to the point I think that instead of letting her feelings known she used what I call a poison pill on the friendship to get it back to her comfort level (and me still questioning what happened 3 months later)

But the virgos I have befriended have taken many years to come around, but become real good friends that I don't mind helping in a minute

Judging from such a compelling and thorough analysis of the zodiac, I 'd say you live up to your interpretations. You've proven to be as insightful as an experimental sign should be, having delved deeper and happening upon such a fascinating pattern among the signs. My ruling planet (Venus) is in Cancer, and my Moon in Aries gives me that flair for living on the edge, so to speak. I do admit I am somewhat of hedonist, I like to please my senses and I fantasize about living a particular lifestyle. My Ascendant Libra, like my Sun Leo are both interpersonal in this case, and I would be lying if I were to say my life did not revolve around my loved ones and pleasing them. I wouldn't say I'm a people-person, I'm more of a recluse, and I try to avoid social events as much as I can. Probably something in my chart. I hardly have any experimental in me, which is disappointing because I feel as if I exude more of that seeking out knowledge and intellectual pursuits in my personality than other kids my age. So though it is a very on-spot interpretation, it's not one I prefer over the original. edit~For instance, I know an Aquarius very well with a Capricorn Moon and Sagittarius Sun and she would surprise you. She's well for lack of a better word, a pothead, and she's got a terrible sailor's mouth. She's friendly but she will shy away from any intellectual conversation when the opportunity to arises. She's incapable of philosophical thought and needs to stay above the surface. All that comes out of her mouth is recreational activity, sex, and more sex. To me, she represents more of a superficial sign. No experimental influences in her nature, whatsoever, unless she happens to just be a master of disguise and can hide it well but I've known her for a very long time and she still hasn't exposed any experimental traits yet. In her case, I would stick with traditional chart readings as this would not apply to her. However, in general, it is very accurate.

YES. I AM A VIRGO AND THE 2 GIRLS I WORK WITH ARE VIRGO'S. OUR BIRTHDAY'S ARE ALL 2 DAYS APART - 3RD, 5TH & 7TH - WE ALL DEFINETELY HAVE WALLS BUILT AROUND US. I'm a Virgo and I do have a wall built around me. I just do this to take care of myself its hard to trust people and let them in. It's hard to show our feelings. But give us a chance once you get to know us and we let you in you will see that we can actually be very loving.
