My teacher wants us to do a book report and she gave us a list of some good ideas that weren't just writing a paper. But i want some more fun and different ideas to do a book report that my class will enjoy, im in 7th grade so don't make them too kiddy.

Be one of the characters in the book... and describe the book from the characters point of view.

- Do the presentation like a character from the book

- Get the class involved somehow...ask rhetorical questions.

- visual aids are great but try not to do a poster. pick something essental from the book (an object if possible) and try to make something representing that

- Make the book interesting. Dont just spout details from the book go over the general plot, but rather try and make it so its in present day (i it isnt already) and bring it into everyday life

lets see when i was in the 7th grade some of our ideas were to act like a news reporter or play a game that explains your book report but remember that you have to stay on topic!!!

You could use Power-Point. Or depending on your level of creativity you could do it in animation/claymation models.
I think the animation/cartoon would be very interesting and I have seen my 7th grade students use it successfully. The good thing is, people will remember it more than if you just talking or write about it. If you can't draw you can use a clip art and word blurbs.
