will suffer more because of it, or do you not consider others in your thoughts ?

I'm not sure if you (or any others) will see the same irony in this Q that I do. I'll try to explain:

To "consider others in your thoughts" is a personal responsibility. It is NOT the job of the government to legislate away pain and suffering. It is YOUR job to do what YOU can to help people in need. You do this through personal giving of your time and money, not through tax increases and wasteful monstrous, unmanaged, inefficient entitlement programs.

The number one difference between liberals and conservatives is that conservatives feel that individuals can accomplish great things if the government would just get out of the way, and liberals feel that the government can accomplish great things if they can just have enough of the rich people's money.

You know who those evil rich people are, don't you?...they're the ones who fire up the entrepreneurial spirit, build the businesses, create the jobs, and give us a higher standard of living than any other country.

They're also the ones paying the vast majority of the taxes.

It's becoming increasingly difficult for the disabled to maintain housing and purchase medication. Being uneducated makes it far worse even without a disability.

Meanwhile, people are getting hundreds of millions of dollars in yearly bonuses just to make some crucial decisions while the brains of the outfit get their meager wages.

Exploitative corporations like Walmart and Disney have even started taking out tax-exempt life insurance policies on their employees, sometimes even illegally.

And that so many of the really bad off people grew up being abused in one way or worse makes this all the much sadder.

I feel as though if the minimum wage was more less people would suffer. But i also feel that many people are capable of working that just refuse to do so,i believe that if people would not do drugs and stop stealing from others in order for them to get a buck, is due to the fact people just refuse to work. And yes i think about poor people i do feel bad for them i do have a heart i donate clothes food etc. to help them.

I wish you'd have given an example. I can't think of a law that harms the poor other than perhaps anti-pan handling.

I do not believe laws are made without regard to the poor. I believe they are made without regard to decency in many cases. It's a profit driven world we live in. Cash is King.

Yes your right Kathy. All the new bankruptcy laws were past without any regards to the poor.We can thank our crooked politicians for that one. They should be sent to Iraq and used for target practice.
