I think she is still shown on the opening song, but you never see her anymore on the show..

shes on reocurring status
since she owns her own clothing line and store
an motherhood is her top priority now
she appears for certain cases or storylines but been o n a leave since her dad pased away last 2006

I also agree. That's probably the best answer you're going to get. Sometimes there just isn't a great explanation for where these characters go...they just mysteriously disappear.
I miss Christine, she's great. When I first started watching the show...yeah I know I'm getting on in age...but Christine was rescuing Nina from the vile woman (Sally Spectra from B&B) who was "caring" for pregnant mothers and then selling their babies. The show was great back then and it is still just as great...as you can tell, I'm addicted.
