No it's perfectly fine. Benadryl is ok for pregnant women to take. In addition I'm assuming you haven't missed your period yet. Nothing you do up until a few days before your missed period has much affect on your baby. You see it takes about 10-12 days for the egg to come down the fallopian tube and implant in the lining of the uterus. Until it implants it does not have any connection with your body and does not receive any nutrients etc... from you. So, there is nothing to worry about.

The FDA pregnancy risk classification for Benadryl is Category B. This means that studies on pregnant animals have not shown a fetal risk, but no studies have been done with pregnant women. If taken continuously during pregnancy the infant may suffer withdrawal symptoms. Chances are you should be fine.
One other note though, if you are trying to conceive you should probably avoid taking Benadryl because it dries up your cervical mucus which makes conception less likely. Good luck and I hope you're pregnant!

With all my pregnancies I did something that wasn't recommended, before I found out. I was on STRONG antibiotics with my first, not to mention all the over the counter stuff I was taking to ease the pain of a sinus infection. I don't remember specifically with my 2nd but seems I was taking Motrin or something. And with #3 (currently 22 weeks pregnant) I had 3 alcoholic drinks the day before I found out (and I don't normally drink)...and I was already 6 weeks along. I was freaking out, but all is well, and both my other kids are perfectly healthy and normal. Don't fret too much and just don't take anymore until you know for sure if you're pregnant or not.
Take care!!

Benadryl is safe as long as you follow dosing guidelines on the package. It's best to avoid taking anything in the first trimester because that's when your baby's organs are forming, but Benadryl is most likely safe. Still let your doctor know and make sure you get a pregnancy test as soon as possible to be sure. I posted a link with other over-the-counter meds.

Benadryl will not hurt your baby...I am 40 weeks pregnant and I take them all the time. They are on the list of OK things to take during pregnancy.

It is usually fine. Many women take meds or drink alcohol and then find out they are preggo. If you are too early to test then it is very unlikely to harm the baby...once baby implants and is getting nutrient through you then you really do need to be much more careful about what you consume.
