"Our" government? Over here we have to put up with Bush trampling international treaties and laws, and we don't even get a vote!

The government oversees the well being of 300 million Americas. It doesn't truly, truly, truly matter whether I trust the government or not. It might seem as if my opinion matters according to the media, but it reality matters so little like a grain of sand on a beach. In the big picture of our society, I have no problems whatsoever with laws and the government.

Is there a government that you nievely trust more than ours?
You have a point, I admit.
Now that the Democrats have taken control of Congress, I don't trust our government, either.
I am now afraid of our government.

Naivety can't go together with trust
No I don't trust the government. Each government since the days of John Kennedy has been a disappointment. This present government can spend billions on wars but can't spend a few millions on poverty at home. They lied about the UFO's, spending taxpayers money, corruption and everyday in their polytricks. Oprah Winfrey one woman crusade can make a mark in Africa, why cant the US Gov't. here ,do something for the folks of New Orleans and all the places where Hurricane Katrina hit.?

Do you naively trust the Dumbocrats?
It is foolish to trust the government of ANY country, not just America. America has one of the more responsible governments around. I would rather have the laws of America than that mess in Europe, or some third world hell hole.
If you are one of those complainey liberals who hate America, then leave.
Good bye.

Do you trust anyone you don't know personally? Do you trust Bush? Do you trust the person walking towards you on the street? Hell no! Your mind has a cautious feeling or a weary feeling for a reason. Go with your gut!

NO!
I am a patriot and would defend this land and our flag with my life.
No government should be totally trusted or totally in charge.. that's a fiefdom... and that's bad.
I love my country. It is the best country in the world. We have freedom, opportunity and the ability to do anything and become anything we want.
You reap what you sew in this land.

I don't trust George Bush, he is in his speech he is going to do preemptive strike on Iran and Syria. The congress holds the purse but he will strike without warning, he is has completely gone crazy. Iraq in such a mess, 3,018 troops dead and thousands maimed and he still wants to strike the two countries that have the bombs and equipment that Iraq didn't have, I'm scared to death. He is a crazy man and getting crazier everyday.
