since he decided he needed to make up a name cuz he's not a good enough rapper to use his real name and sell albums

Well, it's hard to tell, I think in a recent interview it was said by Fase, his brother, that it is based on the Wrestler, but he may be lying because they don't speak. You never know. Game = Best Rapper
