I don't feel safer. But that's probably because I was young, and neive before 9/11. I didn't have my kids yet either. I didn't take the time to care about the state of my country or the government running it. I didn't even realize that there were "terrorists" who hated me! I now fear for my children's futures. I catch myself watching "c-span" searching for the truth. I want a safe and protected America for my children to have their children in. I don't know how to do it though. That's why we elect representatives... to "represent" us. So no, I don't feel safer, but because of the terrorists, not the President.

No, I feel like our country is more hated (thus more of a target) than ever. I'm sorry, but I have never bought the idea that you could fight hate with guns, brute force, and reciprocated hate. What ever happened to killing with kindness? Seriously, if we because an honest, giving, world-conscious nation that embraced and tried to solve the needs and poverty of those in the middle east, how could the present day hate possibly spread?

Only people that have done something wrong need to watch their back and fear. Since my hands are clean of these things I wonder why terrorist would want to harm us. The answer is probably our gov't or people our gov't support did something to them. So eitther way I know these terrorist have no problem with me, it's just I happen to be on the opposite side. I would never fear these guys since my hands are guiltless and I feel the same as i did pre 911. "the wicked man run when no man pursueth" proverbs
