How long should we wait before trying to conceive after a LEEP. I am due to have one in a week & we were planning to conceive in June.

I probably should have waited longer than I did. I had the LEEP in June, and conceived a month and a half later (the end of July).

My doctor is aware of my situation, and said that it shouldn't pose any problems. (Although there is a slight possibility of pre-term labour)

You should probably be okay to plan for June, but talk to your doctor, some doctors have varying opinions, but honestly he will be able to give you the best information :)

Good luck with the LEEP. It's not as bad as the colposcopy, and over before you know it.

well i had one last april and concieved in august... and everything is okay but my doctor told me i should have waited at least 12 months after. I have to see a specialist every 3 weeks vecause of my LEEP procedure (but hey more ultrasounds for me- YAY) You should discuss this with your doctor.....
