255.255.255.0 subnet
Ip would be what ever the router is. why don't you just let the router assign ip for you.

On windows XP go to start then run then type: ipconfig then enter
should give you your ip and your SUBnet mask.... have you tried properly power cycling.... everything off comp router power uunplugged and modem power unplugged for 2 min then modem oon wait 35 sec router on 35sec then comp should be auto configured!! If not call your isp and hopefully you get someone with half a brain.

you shouldn't have to configure that in the router. Once the router is hooked up to your DSL or Cable, that information will be sent from the DSL or Cable company. Preseting it is going to conflict with what the DSL or Cable company is expecting it to be.
Then all of your PCs will pull an IP address and the other information from the router. Set the router for DHCP, which it is set that way by default.

Check in the user's manuel that came with your router for belkin's it's usually 192.168.something.something dont remember but that's where i would look... if not there click on your wireless connection if connected and then details or advance it will give you ur ip, subnet, jus type it in the address bar of a IE or whatever browser you have... and it will take you to your configuration.

unless you aren't going to implement subnet's just leave the fourth octet blank like: 255,255.255.0

255.255.255.0 is the default one, and if you dont know what you are doing dont mess with changing it, it could cause more problems than it would be worth
