My bf seems to be cheating once again. How can I turn off my feelings for him so I can move on?

Ok....so we have a 2 and a half year old together so I can't just not ever see him!!!

meet someone else, and if that person doesn't help you forget, then meet someone else, etc.

in a relationship a couple of things are very important. respect. trust. honesty. if any of these doesn't exist or there is a lack of it, then the relationship is doomed to go under or will lead to unhappiness.
your bf cheating on you means he doesn't respect you. can you really live with it? can you really truly love a person who doesn't respect you?
however turning off feelings, such thing is not possible. you will feel love for him, but you must give yourself value. You are a wonderful person, and you deserve to be treated right. Accept the fact that his cheating means that he doesn't treat you right. This way you can accept that he doesn't deserve your love, someone else who will treat you right deserves your love.

Emotions are not a lightswitch like it may seem to be for men. But men are chemically different than women. Just stop all commo and let time heal. Stay away from him and understand you are a beautiful person. Once you get beyond the carinng point you will realize you may have never really wanted that.

Get a new routine and do not talk to him, do not look at him, just do not go where he will be hanging out. And look in the mirror and tell yourself that you do not deserve to be disrespected in such a manner. You do not need anyone making a fool of you. And you deserve the best life has to offer. And a cheating boy friend breaks all of these and remind yourself of that all the time.

Let go. Get all your stuff - cut all ties between you. Delete his number from your phone. Don't answer his calls. Just dissappear from him. Get your friends together and plan up your weeks till your so busy you can't even think about him anymore! :) Best of luck. It's always hard - but you can't go on being cheated on.

don't expect your feelings to turn off that's not going to happen and it's not going to be that easy..if you want to move on which it sounds like you really need to...then it's going to take strength and don't kid yourself it's going to be hard..but it seems to me that its something you have to do, don't waste more of your time on something that is obviously not going to work..life is too short...be strong and do what you know you have to do...best of luck and this is also a thought to contemplate which hurts more being cheated on for the rest of your life or breaking it off and having it hurt for awhile until you move on find yourself and eventually find someone new who respects and loves you and is willing to be fate full...dont kid yourself girl if he cheats he doesn't love you hes attached to you and you to him...do yourself a favour and get on the road to a better life.

think of the pros and cons. If he is cheating...dont cheat yourself by being with him. If you continue to have sex with him...who knows if hes contracted a disease from somebody. If you cant trust him and he cheats..he really doesnt love you, and you cant make somebody love you back. Time will heal wounds and you will someday find a loyal man who wouldnt cheat or lie.

GET MAD!!! You have to develop a love hate relationship. You need to tell yourself how bad he is and how much you dislike how he does you. You are too GOOD for a low life cheater. You are #1 LET HIM GO!!! Tell yourself over and over that you hate him then cry it out and let go and never look back!!! Good Luck

Just do it...trust me...i was in a relationship with someone like that...that i was in love with...i put off breaking it off with him...he instead did it...it would have been better in the long run if i would have ended it myself

its kinda hard to just stop liking someone in an instant. it takes time. but the best way to get over someone is to feel for someone else
