I mean, how can they have Roran and Katrina run away together if in book 2, Roran comes back to Carvahall to marry her?
This movie was a disgrace to the book and its author, who, by the way, wasn't even mentioned!

OMG...that was a pathetic excuse for a movie.....i hope to god that apolini has more of a directorial role with the Eldest flick....if i were him tho there wouldn't be an Eldest flick unless he got to review the entire thing first. I ask you a question....Does anyone know when the third book is coming out?

I completely agree, and this is from a stand point of someone who watched the movie and then read the book. I thought the movie was mediocre not having read the book, but i after i did, i thought it was stupid, the book was soooo much better, it would have been a good movie had they kept to the story line a lot better. Although, i did think they did a good job with Sapphira.

I thought it sucked--without reading the book. It's a childrens' movie.

Personally, I thought the book sucked, so I was pleasantly surprised by the film, which was boring, but not mind-numbingly so.

no one liked the movie. it sucks too cause most people who went were fans of the book. alas... this was not to be like the harry potter franchise. oh well. can't wait for order of the pheonix.

That's the problem with many movies that are based off a book.
They either change the story completely or they don't develope it enough.
