In response to your email, no u can't make voice recordings into ringtones unless you convert them into either midi or MP3 format and re-upload them to your phone.
About the micro SD card, I'm not sure but since it's in MP3 format, I don't foresee any problems with it except that you may have to do some editing to shorten the songs (that's a big MAY though)

I have the CU500. Nice battery life, display and keyboard. Great signal and sound quality. However, Bluetooth is a poor implementation which will never include address book transfer (hardware BT Profile limitation), and the ability to SYNC with Outlook is still a highly speculative mystery. You can get the sync cable from Cingular, but the software comes from LG in Austrailia and doesn't always seem to work well.

my bro has a SYNC and he relatively likes it. he sez the reveal screen is bigger, and it may play music and stuff, which he likes. he doesnt plenty guard it when I call it the N'SYNC or the SKUNK, yet whats up.
