It is a matter of opinion as to who you think makes the best full size pickup and why? Please give reasons behind this. I know brand loyalty is the reason for some, but at least tell us why you think so?

Take brand loyalty out of the equation? Then you wouldn't be talking about trucks!!

Sales obviously put the FORD F-150 at the top of the list. Most folks who own F-150s now, used to drive one as a work truck or on a work site. They've proven themselves as good work vehicles time and time again.

And if it's good enough to take work site abuse, it's good enough for driving around town or on the freeway.

And think about this. When you think truck, you think drive anyway, do anything, haul anything, pull anything. That's why the Honda Ridgeline was such a job as Car & Driver Truck of the year. Those guys wouldn't know a real truck if it ran over their hind parts. You couldn't find a single Ridgeline on any 'real' construction or worksite. I even know a friend who had to have his wife pull his Ridgeline out of the mud in her...F-150.

Bluntly, the best full size pick-up is the one that can do just about anything you throw at it. the F-150 just might fit the bill.

Nowadays there's not really much of a differance between the major full-sizes. All have between 350-400HP, all feature a variety of slushboxes and 4WDs and all will drag half a mountain around given the chance. It's a matter of personal preferance and reliability data as far as the choice you make. Dont believe the commercials. Speak to all the local, non-dealer repair shops about the numbers of full-sizes they see over, say, a month, between the brands you are trying to choose from. The independant outfits are most likely to be unbiased tords one brand since all they do is fix them. The dealer's gonna be a bit biased tords their respective make, but they too can shed some light, and alot of dealers will tell you how many of their vehicles are brought in for warranty repairs. I'm more likely to point you to a humble model from 1985 that runs just as strong as it's 2007 counterpart, yet costs less and is equally reliable.

There are such issues, yet they don't promote any interior america immediately. The VW pickup interior the early '80s and the save away from Rampage / Plymouth Scamp are both the front wheelchronic, regardless of if neither one is amazingly person-friendly to discover at the moment. i have seen some issues in South usa that seem the front wheelchronic pickups with Chevy badges - they are about the scale of a Geo Metro.

The narator, Rick Titus, by the way, is NOT a Ford employee.
