In most states, yes. If you are legally separated, no. If you are just physically separated without a court order, yes, the debts incurred will be joint.

It depends in wich state. Most states, if you are LEGALLY sep and not just broken up, then most of the time the one that is spending the money is reliable for it as long as it not for paying bills for the household that they shared together ie, mortgage payments, car payments, light bills, ect. And if you live in one of those states that are not like that, get a divorce QUICK!

Long as your married , you are 50/50/ responsible. If you don't want a divorce, get a legal separation and then you would responsible for the ones before you filed legal separation.

Yes, you are. The credit card company does not care if you are separated, divorced, etc. If you and her both applied for the cards you are both responsible for them no matter who makes the charges. If and when you get a divorce you both are still responsible for them.
