I am selling my home and have 2 bathrooms and the kitchen that needs cleaning. The maid is coming over next week to give me a quote. I am guessing $200. If more, I should probably do it myself this weekend...

How much do these usually run?

Depends on where you live and the size of your home/rooms - I can't see more than $150 for only 2 bathrooms and a kitchen - again aslo it depends on what you are asking for - total scrub of oven, etc could get up to $150 - but I can't see that as more than 3 hour job - $100 most...

Depends on your location and the way you leave the house on move out. Does this also include windows, inside and out, is it a 2 story? Does this also include the refrigerator? Are there glass shower doors that are severely water spotted? For a single story, with windows, kitchen with frig and 2 baths basic wipe down no extra time spent we charge a minimum of $90. Making it move in ready. If the house is thrashed...we did an eviction, so you can just imagine, it took over an hour on the frig, we charged $325. It is wise to get a quote first, phone quotes on this cleaning is not accurate, one persons idea of clean is different from another persons idea.

Gives you a quote - aren't you lucky. Having had a full blown service I would have given you a price on the phone. Wouldn't have wasted time quoting. If we showed up and found more than you described we would then have asked for more money or done less. We had a reputation and were paid in advance of the work. We would 'key ready' a house starting at $200.- that came with a receipt. We usually took pictures after completion and gave mutually signed copies to our client to verify to new owner, landlord. Our minimum charge to go anywhere was $75.00 for any job. Now there are hourly people (free lancers) who just have a minimum amount of hours they will do and you can supervise, pay after. Usually cheaper in comparison. Non receipted cash speaks to them. Know that doing it yourself after moving and then closing can be painful - hiring out sounds good.
