Hi Brown Sugar. You are probably in the minority but I don't see it as a huge problem. I have sisters your age and they don't particularly like going to a crowded club.

Girl I am 24 years old and I am the same way. My friends like to go out to the clubs but I would just rather stay home and watch a good movie. Nothing wrong with that. Keeps ya out of trouble

Just like me.I`m 14(of course younger)but all of my friends are party vets. They`ve been partying since a couple of years ago, clubs and discos almost every week. They go often in school parties or birthdays but i never ever do.(i don`t even go to their birthdays) I like places less crowded, being on my own and usually get bored when you have stupid chats or when people tease you continuosly.I believe it doesn`t mean you have a prob. You just don`t like being around many and keep your routine which you find relaxing. If you`re okay with that then anyone else should be.Your fun is what matters.Let them blabber!

I say it is completely normal, I am very much the same and I have talked to someolder people about this and they have all told me that I am making the right decision. Think of it this way, you are saving money and not drinking. You are just more responsible. I know that many peopple will disagree that you have to live the college experience. But to me that is a waste of time and you are just more mature than your friends. Many people that i do talk to say that they wiah they would not have done all the partying.

You seem to be really shy to me. Maybe going to the clubs or going out where there is a lot of people would be good for you so you can get used to being around a lot of people.

No, there is nothing wrong with it at all. Those types of people are desperate. Fun is where you make it. I like to just lay on the dock at night and drink whatever with my Man, or sit home with my dog. You are OK. I bet they have so much drama from all that club sh!t, too.

You are an ideal example for the saying "To each his (her) own."

I didn't like clubs much at your age either. I would go with my friends, but I preferred to socialize in a pub rather than the "clubs."

Its ok to say no, if that's what you mean.

Wish you luck.

There is nothing wrong with that because some things just get boring, lame, and the same old thing. You have better things to do with your life than getting drunk and sleeping with sleazy guys. Good for you!!!

Make it a point to go out with them every 2-4 weeks just to keep them your friends and who knows you might have fun.
