WHY this is acceptable? If there were such a thing as a "White Family channel" , a "White Entertainment Channel", or a "Miss White USA", it would be considered "racist".
Please, this IS NOT a "racist" question, just plain curiosity.

I have often wondered the same thing. Having seperate channels seems like a step backwards to me. Why can't we have just one channel with white shows and black shows? Afterall aren't we all Americans and Children of God? If we want true integration and equality, then lets stop this nonsense of having sepearte channels. Did people used to complain about seperate churches and schools and drinking fountains and bathrooms. Now we have the same thing, only it is not whites who are making it that way. I just say that if it was wrong then, it is still wrong now.

Maybe it's because.. all the other channels,network and cable are " the white family channel" I personally don't have to watch an all black channel..but it's nice to sometimes see more than 1 or 2 black people on a show

For the same reason there's a Miss Black America. There really is...not a black Miss USA or Miss Universe, but Miss America.

Well,in case you haven't noticed,all the rest of the channels are Caucasian oriented.I think it's more than acceptable that we have a couple for our own.Miss USA had been dominated by whites for decades also.

Its just a channel were black people are actors and ect. i mean these day there arent many black actors on t.v
