I am presuming you have a firewall & anti virus program. If your trojan(s) are in temp/restore/copy files, turn off system restore.Restart the computer, turn on system restore, restart computer.
As Brilock says AVG is a very good FREE anti virus program.Available here:http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1

I had the same problems for years and years. The problem is that Windows is so full of holes its like swiss cheese. Thats why I finally had enough and switched to the Mac. Apple's OS X has been out for six years and has zero (0) viruses, spyware, trojans etc. while Windows has over 114,000. Something to think about. In the meantime, i would save your most important files to a cd or something and then reinstall windows. Just make sure you do windows update immediately after reinstalling it.

Doing a defrag will not get rid of any infection. Run the 3 scans below to clean up your machine.
Update and run your Anti-Virus program. Don't have one? You can run a free online scan from CA.

Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/ . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.
Download, update and run Adaware---http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/products/select_your_product.php

Said to say that defraging will not get rid of the virus but you will have to purchase some type of anti-virus to get rid of it.
Norton or some other software.

If you are having connection problems, are you on broadband or on dial up. If broadband are you using a long telephone extension cable and not an adsl (RJ11) cable. this will cause intermitant connection problems. The cables look similar but they are not. If this helps you try my site you may like it -

sounds prefer to procure the fake virus checker that's a virulent disease itself. it tries to con you out of money. i think of i had it earlier. btw dont use norton. maximum viruses be responsive to roughly it and hit upon a fashion around it. use microsoft secure practices necessities. google it- its unfastened and gets each thing ninety 9 % of the time.
