When i was 5, i had one colleague in kindergarden who was living in my neighborhood. In his block lived a girl, and one day this girl call me and my colleague C. to the basement of their block. There she told us to kiss each other, then to remove our pants and touch our and each other's sexual organs, then she put us to lie on the ground, one on top of the other, and then to switch places.
Now i'm 16. I talked to my boyfriend about it, he's the first one i told about this, and he told me to do something about it. He thinks that girl should be in prison. I wonder, is there anything i could now, after 10-11 years? Like talking to a policeman or a lawyer? If anyone could tell me, thank you.

1. first and foremost if it is still something you have an issue with seek concealing.
2. a lot depends on the age of the girl who told you to do the things.
3. it also depends if the the party that was involved would cooperate in having action taken
4. but your best bet would be to call the authorities for the neighbourhood where it happen and ask to speak to a detective and and give him or her the info, this can be done anonymously to find out if there is anything that you can do legally about it.
I am sorry to say that since the time span has been so long that there is most likely nothing that can be done, if you are told that legally there is nothing you can do you can contact the parents of the other girl and tell them what happened maybe they can address it, chances are the girl may have some kind of additional issues going on.

How much older was this other girl who made you do this? This is the main issue. If she was just a child like you at the time i doubt if anything could be done. Now if she was an adult, then maybe. Some states have no statute of limitations when it comes to child molestation.
If i were you i would get with an attorney or maybe even your counties head prosecutor. This girl might have done similar things to others, and they might have it on record. Your testimony might just be what they need to put her away.

I'm not sure of the rule in the States.
In Canada, there is no limitation on how long you can bring a claim for sexual misconduct that happened when you were a minor.
As for criminal charges, a child cannot commit a crime, so it would depend on how old the girl was. In all likelihood she could not be charged criminally.
That said, you would be able to sue the girl and her parents.

There certainly have been cases where after delays of -- say -- twenty years people accused of indecent assault of a minor or minors have been brought to trial. However, if you are talking about another girl, she was presumably a child too and perhaps under the age of criminal responsibility. It doesn't sound as though any lasting harm was done to you. The girl appears to have grown up and moved away. I wouldn't be inclined to take any action.

Yes there is something you can do and you should, for the sake of others and for your own healing process. Speak with your Victim-Witness Administrator at your local courthouse, they can advise you better than anyone at getting this pervert convicted. There is no statue of limitations to some crimes and this may be one. I'm sure when this person is exposed others will come forth. I'm certain your not the only one that sufferd because of this person.

You could possibly contact the police, but beacuse the girl was so young, there really isn't anything that you can do about it now. The statute of limitations on something like that is pretty much expired.

It is doubtful. If this girl was a teenager or adult I would consider that predatory, but the likelihood of taking successful legal action is slim to none. If you've made it this far, you should just put it behind you.

How old was this girl? I would think that is too long to do anything. However, I would go see a psychologist and talk about how it affected you, etc. Maybe they will have some good advice for you.

If the person was a minor no. If the person was an adult then you need to contact the local police department so they can investigate her.
