It sure seems like it. I have wondered what would happen if the supreme court would have not ruled that the giving of money is an expression of free speech. Would lobbyist then have to convince with words instead of monetary gifts. Of course money would still exchange hands except for it then would be known as a bribe like it truly is.

Yes. But lawyers can do all sorts of things legally, that would put the rest of us in jail for a long long time.

This is what gives us a name, a "Corporate America". (which we are) People no longer have a say in the government, rich CEO's do.

most of the time it really is, i think if we knew half of what really went on behind the scenes it would be way to difficult to really deal with.

yes it is....lobbyist need to be outlawed..but our law makers/bribe takers..will allow that to happen.......it is all pretty disgusting...
