I Agree... The cheerleader's dad has too much history that we just don't know about... and though he's trying to "save the cheerleader".. I don't think he has the same intensions.. (to "save the world") There's something special about her powers and he's gonna exploit them in some way I think...

I think it is pretty likely that there is at least another enemy here. Claire's father seems to be at least nominally on the side of "good" so unless they want to keep the show extremely straight forward they are going to need some sort of mystery and from a show known for twists, I wouldn't doubt that there is some sort of secret society or something as a villian. Perhaps sylar will recruit his own helpers.
edit: I agree about the extreme uslessness of the nikki/jessica, micah, and DL storyline. They'd better connect that up eventually because it feels like an extreme waste of time right now even if the whole family are "heroes"

Ok...Sylar creeps me out. I agree that the cheerleader's dad is not quite the nice guy we were led to believe he was, however he did say that he had gotten orders to keep Sylar alive...which means he is not the top dog. Hmmmmm. Kinda wonder about that guy in Vegas...the one who tried to blackmail Nathan, and who bought that picture that Peter needed....I believe he is a reputed mob boss or something.
It will be interesting to see what happens on the first new episode of the season (will Jan. 22nd ever get here??)

There is someone bigger then sylar, ther is someone bigger then HRG. that is my belief anyway... as far as Niki goes, I think she is just a split personality, I don't think she is a "Hero". (I thought she was a hero in the begging) All her "powers" can be attributed to Dissociative Identity Disorder -except for the strength thing. And excessive strength is a trait in many mental illnesses

It's something bigger. It's about why the earth is causing these mutations to save itself.

I think the cheerleader's dad is dirtier than we think. And I think that someone's going to die soon. The show doesn't need Nikki/Jessica at all!
