i love soccer...it is something that was taught to me by my dad...and i consider it a cultural thing. I love to what teams from all over the world, like Real Madrid, River Plate, Boca Juniors, Manchester United, AC Milan. But when i watch them play and then i watch an MLS game i can't help o think that the MLS even knows how to play the sport.

Well, there are some good players in MLS, but other leagues around the world are deeper to be sure. It's got a lot to with money and tradition. We are really only now seeing the second generation or so of American playersthat grew up playing soccer, whereas it has been the dominant sport in places like England and Brazil forever. And that holds true for fans as well--most sports fans grew up playing the game first. Since there are less fans, there is less money to pay top tier talent. The league continues to improve, but still has a way to go.

Wow!! That's a very hypocritical statement to make.

Most soccer fans protect the game of soccer at all cost. You are the first soccer fan that I have ever seen curse the sport. It's almost sacrilegious to do so.

Putting down less talented players doesn't make any sense.
Especially when those same untalented players tied the very talented Real Madrid team 1-1.

Either you support the game or you don't.

UR totally right. I was raised on a similar background. My family and community loved soccer. We've watched European Leagues, Latin Leagues, and even Asian League shows more skills than MLS.

MLS only bought becks for marketing purposes. It's not going to attract any football fans, it's only giving becks a good lead to hollywood.

I was watching live Argentine football the other night and I thought "How bad are the players". Remember when MLS Stars(not all stars really) beat Chelsea, no you don't. Maybe your dad taught you wrong or you're just too green.
