First of all is it completely healed if not you need to wash it in antibacterial soap (dial) and get your doctor to give you burn cream and it has to be cleaned twice a day. Aquaphor cream is great for after the healing has started to take place to soften the burn rub three to four times a day with pressure like you were using a pencil eraser to erase something that will help to lower the raised skin as for the discoloration since it is darker I would use a skin lightening cream a few times a day but it will never be the same color as your skin, if you feel really self conscious about the scar use waterproof foundation a shade lighter than you natural skin color as needed. BUT PLEASE IF IS NOT HEALED DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON IT UNLESS THE DOCTOR SAYS SO you can really cause your self more problems than a scar.

You can try to use, concealer (like Neutrogena, or Clairol), and there are a few medicines, or patches to make scars lighter. Try going to RiteAid or Eckerd.
