Those who claim that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit,simply do not understand the art form. It's not only ok to be sarcastic, it's actually essential for your own wellbeing and the welfare of those around us.
Sadly, as with irony, not everyone gets it. Perhaps we should develop some sort of symbol, like a smiley only not smiling, which we could add to sarcastic or ironic answers, thereby avoiding about 90% of the rows that people get into on here. ;-I

I have always thought that sarcasm is a different type of humour, after all if you are quick to answer and witty, it can be very funny. I can see how some people may feel a little hurt when they are on the receiving end of it. But usually sarcasm is not something that you have time to think about, if it is not delivered immediately it can lose its` value. So I am sure that on the whole people do not mean to be unkind, I suppose it does depend also on the sense of humour of the precipitant, as well as the person who delivers it.

no but you have to check the kind of person you being sarcastic with.i know that being sarcastic its like joking but people might get mad.

its wrong if their is hatred behind it or a desire to hurt others if you just find the questions stupid remember to some they are not, try and understand others more and the reasons why they ask the questions they do. if you would have a real problem not everyone will think its a real problem but to you it is~
