Ok guys....is Myspace really save!!!! I have heard about all the things that happen to girls that have gotten on Myspace....and gotten to know someone!! That some not so nice stuff has happened to them!! I don't have one..and I'm kinda scared to get one!! What are you thoughts on Myspace and how do you keep yourself save on it!! And any additional stuff I might need to know! Thanks guys!!!

Well I personally don't have a myspace but every single person I know does. The way you can stay safe is by making your page private where no one can look at it without being accepted as your friend. If you do not know someone don't add them as your friend. I would also recommed you to not post up any pictures of yourself or of people close to you. Good Luck!

I have a Myspace account, and I've had it for a few months now. It's perfectly safe if you know what to look out for. If you get weird comments, or someone just gives you a weird feeling, then delete that person. Also you can keep your profile Private, which only allows you, and your friends to see it, or you can have it where everyone who has their accounts set under the age of 18 can see your page.
Basically, just don't agree to meet anyone you don't know, and if you have a weird feelings about people, then delete them, or block them. It's not that hard to stay safe, you just have to stay smart about things.

social networking sites, by definition, introduce you to new people. If you want to stay safe, don't put your personal details on your page and dont tell them to anyone. also, keep your profile private and only add friends you know in person.

Just keep your profile set to private so other people who aren't on your friend list can't look at your profile...If they add you to your profile you can set a question before they add you...Like Whats My Last Name?...something like that..

Keep you profile private.
Don't accept friend requests from people you don't know.
Don't give out any personal information.
Just be careful who you talk to.

make ure profile private so if someone wants to be ure friend u can check out their profile and if u don tknow who they are and u dont like them u can just delete them

Well...to keep yourself SAFE, don't do anything stupid. Like meeting people you meet on myspace in real life.
And don't give out info...like your address, telephone #, etc.
