it can be. u can never tell if someone loves u for ur looks or for urslelf until sometimes its too late. it can make u vain, and proud... but beauty is a gift and i think people should learn to appreciate it, and understand how so many people want exactly what they hate...so its important not to be selfish. i know i would rather be cursed with beauty than cursed with repulsiveness, and i know it sounds bad but i dont know anyone who would chose the other way around. after all peopel who are not considered "beautiful" by societys standerds are often treated very badly...its sad really, i feel liek everyone is beautiful.

I wish I was a beautiful woman for a day to know what it is like to have others want to have hot sex with me. It must feel powerful.

It is if people only look at you rather than listen to you. It is my biggest issue. I choose to be mean at times because I want to hear people say something else to me than 'you're beautiful'. At least when I'm mean, it comes from me and it doesn't matter what I look like.
