TED KENNEDY (D-MA) said it with no problems. In fact, the media at the National Press Club got a good laugh out of it as well. If a Republican said that, he would be tarred and feathered as a racist.
All the negative votes will illustrate this last point nicely.

Hussein was not a tyrant when Obama was born. Neither was Osama an enemy of the state at that time.
But the main point is Obama's name should have nothing to do with his abilities as a politician. And since when does the fact that the other party (yes, I am a Republican) acted like immature children automatically make it OK for us to do the same? Let's try to rise above such idiocy.

i do no longer settle for the inspiration of your question. yet i favor 10 factors for a superb answer. So i will respond to your incorrect question, in hopes you'll evaluate this answer for 10 factors(no i will not do any more suitable favors for you). ok, so Obama chosen Hussein as his midsection call because he's smug. smug sufficient to chance his Presidential possibilities hostile to an American public who hates Husseins. And yet, his conceitedness did not damage him. He gained the Presidency(miraculously). So, i wager, he's a God of sorts.

Not only is it ok, but it makes me giggle. You want a good laugh look for a wave or video fil of Ted Kennedy saying "Osama, oops Osama Obama. Funnier still.
There's also a recording of him saying to a reporter not to mention his big ears. Seems the poor baby is sensitive about them, and the kids at school made fun of him. Awwww.
Actually my nickname for him is Obama Sin Laden.

well people where calling him king george the second. but that wasn't becuase king george was a bad guy. they where calling him that becuase his father was president. i know it may be hard for you to mentally wrap yourself around that one. and it's not PC to make fun of another persons name on natl. media. there is free speach, but congress have proved free speach doesn't belong on public air waves ( Howard stern.) the liberal media are not hypoctites, a hyrocritcal statement based on your assumption would be more like calling the president, George, female private area.

Um, Osama bin Laden is not a tyrant. He's a terrorist. And if you'd like to use that name in poor taste, by all means go for it. It only shows your intelligence level.

If that has to be explained to you, you'll never get it. Suffice to say Bush Acts like He's king.
btw- Dubya is from Limbaugh, and has been picked up by just about everyone, not just Democrats. Bush's Bumper Stickers in 2004 had a big W on them....

Who said it wasn't ok?
Rhyming names or name similarities have nothing to do with politics. That's like saying that my hispanic neighbor Jesus must be the 2nd coming because he has the same name.

Hey, if they can say Dubya, I can say Hussein. Its not a slur, its his actual name. They shouldn't run someone if they are ashamed of him. I have no problem with his name being Hussein, and this is why I say it sometimes.
