Only one way to win Iraq?

Question

Make Iraq another US state. Iraq would then be under US government and US laws/consitution. Then America can straighten out the country and maybe 20 years later gve it back just as MANY MANY countries that were taken over by the british and others only to be given back after decades of theft.

Countries that were taken over by the british didn't have a say in the matter. Iraq would be no different, they would now be Americans. The American government can break up the relious mongering and killings.

I didn't say it would be a good solution but it is the ONLY solution.

Right now the US either cares about others or only cares about itself. I wouldn't be suprised if the US only cared about itself since it is the most ignorance nation of bigots and ashles on earth.

Back in the US, back in the US, back in the USSR! Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall! Point is, Iraq for all of it's current issues is still a sovereign nation. No one can just waltz in and throw a blanket of imperialism over it. Although, the White house seems to have a barely hidden agenda over there. Thank God for chicken*** congressman and woman who fear they'll be tossed out in '08. Maybe they can keep Comrade Bushki in check?

That would be a great plan if most of the people in Iraq were already Americans. Since they're Iraqis, I have my doubts that your plan would work.

that is by far the worst idea. it will lead to more determined terrorism. it will eventually lead to war with iran. iraqians will not be happy to be ruled by americans.hamas and other extermists group will grow politically stronger. but, worst of all u.s troops cant even control the violence in baghdad, how are they going to enforce a constitution to the whole country????????????????????it recipe for disaster.
