the person about to kill someone or the person about to be killed?

The person about to kill of course.

I could change my mind, but if I didn't then I would still be alive. Death is something you can't come back from, mistakes are things to be learnt from.

In all honesty neither! Either one would be terrible! It would depend on the reason though. I would need more background: If the person about to kill is a monster without a conscience then I'd never want to be that, I'd rather be the victim (assuming that he/she is an innocent person) and at least have the hope of Heaven in the afterlife rather than be doomed to Hell as an evil person. If however, the "killer" is doing so in self-defence (maybe the "victim" is actually a guilty person who attacked & killed the family, tried to kill the killer etc) in this case I'd rather be the one executing justice than the one being justly punished.

That's an interesting question that is hard to answer because I wouldn't want to be either. I'm going to have to say that it depends on the scenario.

Scenario 1: I'm in a war. I'd rather kill and live.
Scenario 2: I'm a child who will get hit by a car. I would probably rather be the one killed because it would be extremely painful to live with that guilty.
Scenario 3: Brutally murdered. I'd rather be brutally murdered than commit the murder.
Scenario 4: A person is killed in the act of self-defense. I'd rather be the killer because I deserve the right to protect myself when my existence is at risk.
Scenario5: A murder suicide...it's irrelevant to be one or the other because both parties die.

Both are equally intriguing. I would rather be the person about to kill someone, I'm not ready for my time to be over yet.

In self defense, I'd want to be the person about to kill someone.

the person about to be killed. i would never want to be a murder. well i take that back their area few people i would like to see dead. but i still think i would rather be the one about to die because death shouldn't be feared and then I'm just closer to the Beginning of my next life.

I'd be both depending on who I'm protecting, because that's the only reason I'd kill and hopefully the reason I'd be about to be killed.

Does it really matter? Is there really a difference? If you are the victim your life will end in that one instance. If you are the killer you life will also end in that one instance - you will be imprisoned and possibly killed via the death penalty. In either case life as you know it will end.
