They are sooo bloody annoying - as they are really advertising (a religion) loudly in public would I find myself in legal trouble if I was to cut the cable over with pliers as I walk by?
No longer sure this is a theoretical question - and is it legal for them to stand there and advertise using megaphones?

I am sure they are breaking the law themselves with disturbing the peace as they are using a megaphone - speakers corner is meant for soap box non amplified speeches, but you would have to file a complaint. As actually cutting the wires is against the law I would opt for 'accidently' tripping over them and then claiming damages - I bet they are not insured against public liability!

Not sure about English law. In America, the liberals and ACLU would say you are violating First Amendment rights. You could complain to the authorities about noise. It works better if a LOT of people complain about the same thing.

It expenses on popular $17,000 a year to pay for a baby to bypass to college in a public ecosystem. in case you're paying more suitable than that in taxes a year, then convinced bypass ahead and whinge. yet remember to count number police taxes, firemen taxes, street taxes, and so on. Your money, in case you're not any further a severe earner, would not fairly count number for far. except you're wealthy, quit complaining. And illegals do pay taxes, no longer all of them yet some do.

Yes, it's destruction of private property. It's legal for them to do this so long as they're not causing a public nuisance by excessive sound levels, blocking the pavement, etc..

this would definitely be Criminal Damage

you would end up with an appearance in Court, possible damages and a Criminal Record

They can say what they want as long as they do not break any laws - Slander, Incitement etc

So what harm are they doing to you.

just walk on by.

Anybody can go to Speakers Corner and spout what they like as long as it is not inciting others to commit crimes, it's what's know as freedom of speech although we are slowly losing it because of Blair... Cutting the wire will be criminal damage and a spell in the nick.

yep i imagine its anoying but think of the big picture , what if you really need to inform people publicly something and the government decides it against the law , a population with out a freedom of speech is a nation enslaved. dont worry about that guy he will soon realise that what he is doing is not helping his cause they always realise in the end.

it is criminal damage but i find it more fun to stalk them where ever they go with a copy of the bible a point out all the mistakes!

if god created man and the earth in 7 days where did dinosuars come from when its proven man was 65 million years later.

eve gave man freewill yet god still drowned everyone in noah times so that proves god goes back on his word.

the romans and greeks where he worlds greatest documentors but they never ever wrote about jesus

who created the devil!

why does the bible miss out jesus's life from 1 to 30?

isn't it odd that the cristian holidays clash with acent pagen festivals of life easter the sowing of seed and christmas the harvesting/winter festival

and my favourite...
God must forgive you if you repent, so if when you die you wake up out side heven's gates and think **** i was wrong he / she is real just say "sorry i was wrong" and walk on in
