Why has my Playstation 2 stop playing my DVDs??

I have the slim model...

is it new or old, maybe its the little eye that reads the disks, maybe it has dust on or its broken, a friend of mine fixed his by taking the reader from his radio and putting it un the PS 2

Hmmm... the slim model doesn't have any widespread disorders (yet). Try taking it into a game shop near you that repairs games. They'll usually give you a free consultation.
