You have a great attitude. Don't let others bring you down.
Arnold has said that you really shouldn't start lifting until you are at least 16. Push up's, running etc are great. remember that your still growing and will gain muscle no matter what you do.
I suggest that you read up on fitness. Learn how to lift and exercise properly. many people in the gym go very heavy with poor technique. It's not in the weight, it's in your form. Good luck.

There is nothing wrong with that. I was your age when I started working out and I'm twenty now and there is nothing wrong with me. What the guy above said about steroids shrinking your penis is incorrect, they actually shrink your testicles. And the side effects people always talk about come from long term use. But I suggest not taking them at your age because you body is already producing a high level testosterone due to puberty.
Best of luck to you,
Andy P.

A lot of people see teenage guys being interested in lifting weights and changing their bodies as being similar to teenage girls counting calories and trying to diet. People today are concerned about youth that seem to have body image issues. There is nothing wrong with you working out to get healthy, as long as you don't get obsessed. I dated a guy who was insane about lifting weights because he was pretty thin, and he would constantly measure his arms and get angry that he wasn't getting larger. That's what people are afraid you will end up as. Body distortion disorders are becoming pretty popular, and people are just looking out for your well-being. Go ahead and lift weights in moderation, but only as long as it honestly makes YOU feel good, not to try to look good for others. Health is not always about your appearance!

At 15, focus on exercises that increase coordination between muscles, and functional strength. You should do a lot of calisthenics, bodyweight exercises, yoga, things like that. Weightlifting is good, but don't overdue it - and DO NOT take steroids (your member will shrink to the size of your little finger, and then you'll get cancer. What a deal, huh?).

i am 16 and i lift weights and i am getting more muscular. One time though i lifted to much and now my shoulder hurts quite alot. i would recommend that you don't lift more than you can handle. Take it slow.
