I had that problem at the beginning of my marriage, but no longer. What we did was start off with lower lighting - a lamp - and then go from there. Eventually it won't be so uncomfortable. I don't understand why you all of a sudden have a problem with it, but discuss it with your wife and maybe the two of you can figure it out together. Good luck!

If it's difficult because the light bulb burns your ar*e, then I can totally understand why you want the lights off. Better still - take the light bulb out.
She may retort by telling you that you do not have a very big organ. If so, then tell her that it's not use to playing in a cathedral!

Make love to someone else!!!!!!!!!
Put a table lamp on and drap a cloth over the light shade, this will give a little light and will be romantic.
Don't let the cloth touch the bulb. It's a bit of a fire hazard.

Surprise her with a Romantic gesture. Buy some very nice candles, to set around the bedroom, some soft music and you might be surprised.

I wouldn't worry too much...she probably feels the same way about you.
Maybe there's nothing wrong with your wife. It's just you having some self esteem issues or going through a mid life crisis or something. Or!!!!!! you could be addicted to porn sites and have forgotten that she's a real person. dunno....????? what do you think?
